Life is hard. Therapy can help get you through.
Am I in the right place?
❝When did things get so hard? Just saying things are hard makes me feel so guilty! I know others have it harder, so I shouldn’t complain.❞
❝We just can’t stop fighting. We love each other, and want to stay together, but we can’t keep living like this. How do we save our relationship?❞
❝I don’t know who I am anymore, and say hurtful things that are not me. Why and how do I stop!?❞
❝Sometimes I feel like I hate everyone. Other times I worry about the world falling apart, if everyone will be OK, how we’re all going to survive this. It’s all just…too much.❞
❝I’m worried about my relationship. We’re completely out of sync and have lost each other.❞
❝I know I (or we) should talk to someone, but finding the right therapist is so hard. I don’t even have the energy.❞
Does any of this feel or sound even the tiniest bit like you? Because, if it does, I think you are in the right place.
I know it sounds cliché (and I know saying it sounds cliché sounds…cliché), but I truly do get how all of this feels. I’ve been there too. My name is Hallie, and I'm a licensed therapist in North Carolina. I'd love to help.
Hello, hello, hello!
Welcome! I’m Hallie, LCSW and LCAS in Raleigh, NC. I am so glad you’re here! I know starting a therapy journey can be tricky. Usually, we feel pretty crappy when we get around to Googling therapists. Then, as soon as we hit enter, we’re inundated with hundreds of profiles and dozens of treatment options. All of a sudden we’re not sure we even want therapy anymore. But, hang in there — you’ve made it this far, and I can help.
I am honored to get to know the real, 100% unfiltered you. When we work together, you can cry, scream, laugh, cuss, sit in silence, all of the above, or none of the above. Want to knit while we meet? Please do! Want to go for a walk? Just let me get my coat. Want to go old school Freudian and stretch out on my couch while I quietly take notes? Make yourself comfortable. This is your therapy, and your process. I’ll tell you the truth, I’ll be real with you, and I’ll be kind about it. I value your honesty and feedback, and will demonstrate during our time together that disagreeing with me, or wanting something different, is perfectly OK.
You can check out the About me page for more of the nitty-gritty-resume-jargon stuff, the FAQs page for anything else, or just click the button below for a free consultation. We'll see if you're ready to get started, because I am!
By the way, if I’m not near you, don’t worry. I’m a virtual provider. I am also in network with BCBS, Aetna, Optum/UnitedHealthcare and offer self-pay and sliding scale rates. I look forward to talking soon.
